We raise grassfed Katahdin Sheep that are rotationally grazed as well as offered salt + minerals and a non-grain supplement (approved by the American Grassfed Association).

Pricing includes processing and packaging. All meat is vacuum sealed and labeled.

Our Katahdin sheep are rotationally grazed at all times. They are also given salt, mineral, and a non-grain supplement approved by the American Grassfed Association. 

We charge a flat rate for our lamb shares: $450 per whole share. This includes customized processing and our logistics of the share to + from the processor.

We only offer customizing through whole shares at this time. You can purchase a half share but it will not be customizeable.

Here is a sample lamb share. This is a very simple cut. There are more options available on the cut sheet (such as leg of lamb, rib and loin chops, sausage, neck, etc.)

Lamb Stew Meat – 4 packs

Ground Lamb – 10 packs

Leg of Lamb – 2 roasts

Rack of Lamb – 2 rib racks

Neck Steaks – 2 packs

Loin Chops – 6 packs

Total poundage: 30-40 lbs depending on cuts selected.

If you select ‘no’, we will complete a cut sheet on your behalf that includes a variety of cuts (ground lamb, chops, roasts, stew meat, etc.).
TBF Lamb Shares that are in whole sizes and will be processed in groups as they finish out. Whole lamb shares are $450, which includes custom processing and retrieval of order from the butcher. We require a non-refundable deposit at time of ordering – $150 per whole share. Some finer processing requests MAY be at an additional charge which will be added to your invoice. Share yield will greatly depend on your cut sheet selections. But, yields on average are between 30-40 lbs. TBF will retrieve your order from the butcher and bring it to one of our pick-up locations of your choice (Cumberland or Goochland). Cash, check, or Venmo payments are directly made to ThorneBrook Farms.
